Just Mahjong. No thrills, bells, whistles, flashing lights, bonuses, not even a storyline. Even the game options are hidden, accessed via the little wheel at the top of the screen. I love it's simplicity.

Tiles are large and clear. There is a choice of gorgeous backgrounds and different tile sets. The music is very soothing.

This is a gorgeous widescreen Mahjong game. The tiles are big and clear, the backgrounds are gorgeous and look HD, and I love the music. There are no annoying sound effects, no gimmicky powerup tiles, and no games that are not really Mahjong. If you are looking for a big, gorgeous, real Mahjong game, ignore the negative reviews and try this one.

This is still one of the best Mahjong games around to play even though I haven't played the original game

The only thing I didn't like about this edition of Mahjong is that it doesn't tell you how many matched pairs are left. Otherwise, it's pure mahjong. No storyline, no goofiness, just for the fanatic. I'm using the tiles that are alphabet instead of the usual tile designs. Background music reminds me of "Enya". Just overall enjoyable. Some of the boards are easy, and others you need eyes going in ...Show more

Buyed this game due to the modern feel of it, with the beverages, tea tiles and the backgrounds such as the silver polished one to choose from. It takes you straightaway to a board to play when you enter, but you have the ability to choose which board you will like to play and earn rewards. It has flag and alphabet tiles too.
