I enjoyed the demo and got the game (fortunately with a coupon) and then later discovered it was timed and there was no option to play relaxed - I probably would not have purchased it if I had realized the time only mode.

I like Match 3 games. This does offer a challenge on each level and the timer is generous. The beginning storyline was very poor in all aspects...:( Some of the items needed to buy a building were not included in some levels..designer needs to go back to the drawing board on that one. But I did purchase this game only for the level challenges.

This was a great match 3 game. The colors and graphics were nice and the music was enjoyable. The game was not too difficult and you can complete the game easily. My only issue was; there didn't seem to be an ending. I achieved all the levels and the game just kept on going. Maybe not an issue for most people.

I recommend this game!

This appears to be a game that would be quite fun. However ,for me, it was missing one crucial element. That is the option to play in a relaxed mode. If that isn't a concern to you, give it a try.

Everything about this game is OK, but not exceptional in any respect, except for level of challenge, which increased quite quickly from the very start of the game.

The story is a very familiar one in which you have to build a village by spending resources which are obtained during game play. There is some minor humour in the dialogue of the story which provides some light-hearted relief.

Everything about this game is OK, but not exceptional in any respect, except for level of challenge, which increased quite quickly from the very start of the game.

The story is a very familiar one in which you have to build a village by spending resources which are obtained during game play. There is some minor humour in the dialogue of the story which provides some light-hearted relief.

Before you start a new building, you have to obtain a blueprint, and you get this by completing a mini puzzle. In the demo hour, these were fairly easy.

The game is timed, but I found the timer very generous. Graphics are good, but not as sharp as they could be, and colours are bright. Tile symbols are of a good size and reasonably distinctive from one another. Matches can be made whilst tiles are still falling. All the familiar types of obstacles and power-ups appear as play progresses.

Ambient music is fairly non-descript, but can be turned off. Sound effects are so-so, nothing to get excited about there.
Option for custom cursor.

Overall, just an average Match 3 game, certainly not up there in the realms of the best that is available, but one that I can recommend, only just. Show less

My biggest gripe with the game is that you need a certain number of resources to purchase the next blueprint (gold, wood, food, etc.). However, I had to play multiple rounds which did not include the only resource I needed to complete the purchase. Having double the wood and gold needed, no food showed on the boards for the next three or four rounds.

The music is not bad, but eventually becomes slightly irritating. It reminds me of The Sims music.

You can continuing matching while pieces are falling, but not next to a column that is filling in. In other words, you have to match on the other side of the board. It appears that the game realizes that a match will not be available once the pieces fall into place. So, plan ahead.

The building aspect is very basic. No choice in designs or placement. There are only four buildings available at a time.

In my opinion, the blocks are too small. Not for clicking, but for identifying some of the icons. It's often difficult to tell the pieces apart (until you upgrade them via the buildings, like from grapes to fish).

Overall, it is a decent game which I will buy once it goes on sale. Show less

Having played many, many match 3 games and always looking for more, I dove into this one with high hopes as the building aspect usually adds to the m3 fun. From the opening, though, I knew something was amiss. The cartoonish characters and silly dialogue didn't overly bother me as the core of the game could be a good (great?) match 3. But the play, power-ups, non-removable timer and no choices building side all seem to have come thru a "time warp" from long ago. Earlier m3's were very much like this-endless matching, ordinary power-ups, no untimed option, little to no animation or "special effects" in the building portion and super easy and sometimes repeating puzzles to get "blueprints" for buildings. If you're new to m3's and/or building component m3's then this may be a good intro to the genre. But if more modern "bells and whistles" are what you expect, look elsewhere. It's a no buy for me, but if you're a newbie to this type of game, you may want to start here. Show less
