If you thought the puzzles were awesome on 1001 Jigsaw Earth Chronicles 1 then you are in for a whole lot of happiness with this second edition. If you thought the puzzles were awesome on 1001 Jigsaw Earth Chronicles 1 then you are in for a whole lot of happiness with this second edition. I was so blown away, I wish I hadn't bought the first one! These pictures are phenomenal and are grouped in 7 different categories, Animals (my favorite) Birds, Landscape, Flora, Waterworld, Food and Humans, each category has 143 different puzzles for a grand total of 1001 beautiful puzzles ranging from 12 pieces to 247. There are several different features that will help keep you organized and on track, a box to store extra pieces, you can post an image of the picture and choose what size you want, or you can ghost the image on the background. There is a magnifying glass and a hint feature, you can use the auto sort button and border pieces only, as well as change the color of the background to pink, green, blue or gray. My favorite feature hands down is the Modify section which allows you to customize any of the puzzles. You choose how many pieces, the shape of the puzzle pieces and whether you want the pieces to rotate or not! If you are a jigsaw geek like myself, then I highly recommend this edition, enjoy! I have been a jigsaw puzzle lover since I can remember, and love doing these when I have a bit of down time. The graphics are great, you can set the number of pieces you wish to play and yes you can either turn the rotation of the pieces on or off. I own every single game these developers have made, BECAUSE I am a jigsaw FAN, for relaxing time, stress free enjoyment. If they would take all these beautiful pictures and put them into another release of Jigsaw Galore, I'd be a happy camper. This game lets you edit puzzles by increasing number of pieces, style of piece and choose rotate or not. It does not, like Jigsaw Galore, let you choose what size the pieces can be. This puzzle is hard on my eyes, whereas I can enlarge Jigsaw Galore.

I did not have the issues another reviewer had. I was able to drag the pieces - not click to pick up, click to let go. You can select several or just one at a time. Every picture is modify-able. If you really like a picture but do not want to only complete it as 12 pieces, you can select modify and make it a larger number (or vice versa - 200 pieces to 12). If you do not want straight cuts, you can vary the cut for slightly abstract shapes. You also can select the option to not have the pieces rotate. I only played the time trial so far, and played with all these features. There are several option available for every skill level. Show less

the only reason that i give this game 4 stars and not 5 is that i hate to rotate the pieces,
the Pictures are beautiful and the difficulties can be used by every one

I have the London jigsaw and those are actually photos to put together so I bought earth chronicles 2 but the puzzles themselves are weird colorized photos not what they show you before clicking on the picture....VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!

I don't recommend this game.

I got the free trial and uninstalled it within about 5 minutes. It could have been a quicker uninstall but I looked around to see if I could make the changes that I wanted to the pictures. The first picture was a lion and it had 12 pieces - I would want at the minimum ten times more than that. I found where I could change the number to more pieces but I did not find a 'hide the finished picture' ...Show more

I found where I could change the number to more pieces but I did not find a 'hide the finished picture' option but all the puzzles had a low number of pieces. To be honest, I wasn't in the game long enough to tell but I believe they are to be completed within a certain time limit. I do jigsaws to relax but I do want some small measure of challenge. If I want to play a time management game I'll go to Adelantado Trilogy.

I love the gameplay on Jigsaws Galore and wish they would put out a #2 version. I'd buy it up in a snap. Show less

I loved the puzzles but the colors are not the same as the picture for starters what is supposed to be red is blue, the sky that should be blues are peachy or gold ,i did one with white horses they were blue. everyone of the puzzles in all three are the wrong color. Is there a way to fix them.

I don't recommend this game.
