It started out a standard story of a lost loved one with horror/occult overtones but turned into much more--a real mystery with many surprises. Based on the whole game. I was not sure after playing the free trial that I wanted to buy the game but am so glad I did. It started out a standard story of a lost loved one with horror/occult overtones but turned into much more--a real mystery with many surprises. The action stayed related to the story and moved it along throughout. This is a problem I'd had with other ERS games, so much so that I was hesitant to buy. 2 games that I bought that started out so promising deteriorated into meaningless unlocking and back and forth object interactions, but not so with this game. I liked that Spanish setting too. The best ERS yet! Show less

Beautiful graphics and fun to play.

I will state that there are several mini-games where I could NOT skip - despite there being a skip button. So I was either bored with some or so challenged that I had to check out the Walk-Through - but even the Walk-through directions were not specific enough sometimes so I did have to Use My Brain..........

Another moody and beautiful entry in the Grim Facade series. I like these as they border just the edge of Romance, but have a thriller/mystery focus.

Pros: Intuitive game play, games easy to medium, only a few HOS but clear and easy to see. Twists in the story and fun characters. I like the "save up coins" purchase aspect.

This game was good from the beginning, but got better & better as it went on. A LONG game for me, but part of that is because I very rarely use hints. My goal in playing these is to figure things out on my own. That's the fun, and it's a good workout for my brain. Having said this, I used the hint button twice, which means it wins big points for challenging me.

In my opinion, ERS has the best music in their games. It's not usually annoying, and I like how it changes with different scenes. Music can add so much to games!

So, ERS has won me back for now, but it's still tied with Eipix. Let's hope the next game is just as good! Show less

Puzzles and mini games are different, but not hard. Lots of choices in the settings. Give the demo a try and decide for yourself.

This series is new to me and I like it a lot. I bought this today with the bonus punch offering. Although it is an older game, it is real good. You can choose custom settings without those horrible misclick penalties or the 2 minute wait for the skip or hint. There's a lot of back and forth and the map only tells you what areas are open.
