I'm no expert, nor one to think I'm qualified to comment on most games, but this is a game similar to those of us old enough to remember board games that had nothing to do with a computer.

I'm no expert, nor one to think I'm qualified to comment on most games, but this is a game similar to those of us old enough to remember board games that had nothing to do with a computer.

This is a game of both chance, some strategy and mild competition. You can play up to 3 living or computer opponents. A die role of 6 gets you out of the starting position and an extra turn. Knock your opponents back to start by landing on their occupied space. The first to get all 4 of their pieces to safety wins the game. There are 9 background choices, 4 board and 4 cursor choices. Also there is an option to mute the music and a fixed camera option, both of which I do. (you'll see what I mean)

This is a great family game and as a way to 'come-down' from the intensity of the many great suspense games offered by BFG.

I've had this game for about 4 months and I think I've played it almost everyday. Solitaire games are great (I have many) but I get tired of them when I'm looking for something to pass a few minutes. Give the trial a go! Show less

I've enjoyed board chase games since childhood. Sorry, Parcheesi and similar ones. So I was prepared to play and enjoy some nostalgia, too. But I found the game disappointing on many levels. First, the graphics are cartoon-ish but nothing attractive or creative about them. Your avatar and the computer's persona are, if not plain ugly then far from attractive. First, the graphics are cartoon-ish but nothing attractive or creative about them. Your avatar and the computer's persona are, if not plain ugly then far from attractive. Same for game board and backgrounds. The instructions were adequate but lacked details that would've made the game simpler at the start. Having tried both I found turning off camera rotation was easier to relate to and non-distracting. The music wasn't for me so I silenced it During the demo there were no VO's or other sounds. This is a matter of taste, and you may enjoy the melody. In sum, a good premise and a fun theme but needs more work to really grab and hold the human player. But try it for yourself and you may find it enjoyable. Show less

This is a variation of Parcheesi. You move your four game pieces from your "nest" with a dice roll of 6 only, then around the board and back up to home in the middle just like in Parcheesi. There are only extra turns for a roll of 6 - no extras for making it to the end or for hitting another player. And there are no "safe" spots or blocking by putting two of your men on a spot. You can play with other humans or against the computer and can play with one, two, or three opponents. I played two human positions against 2 computers and it took about 30 minutes to complete a game. A little tedious without the extras of Parcheesi, and no variations in game play available. The game board is big and bright and rotates to face you when it's your turn. It's a no buy for me but I might consider it if I didn't already have a better game that I got as a free app. Show less

It also has some strange rule-settings, such as that kicking out an opponent's puppet is not obligatory, you don't have to leave your own start-field when you have more than one puppets in the game and you jump over your puppets inside the house. I know that there are variations regarding the rules, so it would have made sense, if an option to adjust them would have been added.

I stick to the real board game. It much more fun and sociable to sit with four to six players around a table. Along with crisps/chips and some popcorn. Show less

I think my memory of this original game played on a real board with real pieces has somehow coloured my memory banks!
Having said that, I can honestly say that for those of you who have small children, they will enjoy this game!

I remember playing this classic board game when I was a kid, my mother was a pro, and won every time, but that's okay, it taught me that you can't always win, it taught me to think more strategically. I enjoyed playing this board game as a kid, but this virtual game version is boring! Perhaps it's because I was just a kid the last time I played it, but whatever the reason, this game has nothing exciting going for it, it's just a simple board with a few colorful pegs and a poor tutorial.

There are 8 different Backgrounds available, 4 Board layout options, 4 Cursor styles to choose from, a Fixed camera setting and you can disable the GFX for a smoother running game. Players take turn (or computer) in a clockwise order, you must roll a 6 on the die before your player can move. If no legal move can be made, you forfeit your turn, if your player lands on another player's spot, that player's piece must start over. The person to whose four pieces reach home first wins. My recommendation is to dust off the original board game, call all the kids to the table and play a good old fashioned game of parcheesi, while you're at it try the game of life, sorry, ladders and chutes, or even twister! Show less

Sorry was a British Classic, but I am not sure whether the version I remembered as a Brit translated in to the 'wider world', whatever this was not 'Sorry', it was just a digital version of a very basic board game. Yes the developers tried to 'tart it up', but when the material you are working with is not that in-depth then there is not really a lot you can do.

I can't recommend this game, I wouldn't even bother downloading it for the free hour for nostalgic purposes, as it would more than likely sully any memories of the game. Show less

The board is too small. You can't change the players in any way. There is no challenge whatsoever. The description compared it to Sorry. Sorry was a lot of fun, this was terrible. BORING!!!!!

I was excited about downloading and trying this game......until I actually started playing. Perhaps small children will enjoy it, but for fans of the classic board game versions this was very disappointing. I'm just glad that I tried the trial version and didn't pay for it.

How about we get some more TD games instead?!?!
