I was shocked when I played the beta of this game that no more the old Shiver game look and feel which I absolutely love but this new style grows on me. I'm glad that the voice of the doctor in Shiver: Moonlit Grove is back. I love his voice.

I found some of the mini games are unusual and requires a little bit of brain juice and the HO scene varies which keeps me interested. I rarely play through an entire game in one day but I played this game through within one day. This game just kept me interested and kept me wanting to find out what's next.

Sorry to find out I'm at the end of the game. I enjoyed the Bonus Chapter as well. The main game is a very decent length and I think it's well worth the CE price. It's true that I don't care much for decorating the house and the fish bowl but how can you not love that cute looking fish?

Some reviewer was wondering why some scene is still active after they believe they have already picked up an object. It's because there's either pearl collectibles or fish bowl decorations that still need to be picked up. Just requires to look a little closely.

My review is based on an almost completed game. I think I'm about 2/3 through. The graphics and sound effects are effective. The voiceovers are good. My only complaint would be the background music gets on my nerves after awhile so I just take off my headphones until someone speaks. I really love the mini games. I truly enjoyed this game to the end as well as the bonus too. What I really enjoyed and a rare treat is, if you wait for about 5 seconds and sit still the whole picture will display without the menu and inventory. There were some truly beautiful scenes to see. The music was great as the voice over was too. loved the story, it was well done. Thank you for this treat...

Rarely do I stop playing a game to rate it. This is the best game I've played in I don't know how long. I don't understand why it's not a five star across the board. The graphics are phenomenal. I loved that you have to solve puzzles to unlock items. Some of which are quite challenging. This is a definite gem with some spins on hos that had me laughing out loud. LOVED IT

I really liked this game, everything about it and thought it was great that the map let you know if you missed something or didn't do something and that is why you couldn't move on. also like being able to decorate house and name fish

I have bought and played literally hundreds of hidden object adventure game from Big Fish and I rarely leave a rating but I felt compelled to do so for this game. I really loved it from start to finish! A must play!!

I thought this game was great, although shorter than the other Shiver series. It was NOT dark and gloomy, but colorful, in fact a bit too colorful from what I had hoped for. I really enjoyed the first 2 Shiver series. The dark, gloomy, creepiness about them made me delve right in and enjoy every minute. This game was nothing like that. I really enjoyed the first 2 Shiver series. The dark, gloomy, creepiness about them made me delve right in and enjoy every minute. This game was nothing like that. It belonged with all the other games that are colorful with some evil creature in it. Some of the graphics were cartoonish, again nothing like the original Shivers. But the game was fun, just didn't belong in the "horror" category sadly. The puzzles were a lot of fun as were the HOS. Originality in the HOS especially. There was a map in this one which was nice, unlike the other Shiver games and you can use it to teleport. Way more bonuses in the CE version compared to the other games. Really cool they had an option to buy stuff for your house and get to pick which curtains, tables, flooring etc you want.

Like I said I really enjoyed this game but it isn't anything like the original Shiver games which I thoroughly miss and wish they would make more of. Need more "horror" series in HOGs than the repetitive princesses and blah.

Definitely worth the money, but like I stated above it isn't as long as the other games. This took me approximately 4 hours to finish including bonus game, give or take, on normal settings. Show less
