Return to Raincliff, a town long abandoned, to find a missing journalist whose assignment is to find proof that people are actually living there. What she finds is, well invisible people! Who doesn't love Mystery Trackers? The first thing you will notice when you start this game is quality, pure and simple, quality, every little detail, every cut-scene every hidden object game, quality! Elf is back! That cute little canine detective that can squeeze into the tiniest of spaces and drag out things twice his size. The Collectors Edition has achievements to earn and those weird morphing animals that Mystery Trackers has made famous, and even a frost meter that requires you to find clothing etc. to warm your core temperature. The mini games were surprisingly easy, and the hidden object scenes are interactive list finds which have a small mini game in each one, you might have to push buttons in a certain order for example. The mini games are good, my favorite one was having to turn dials 2L, 2R, 3L and 3R to make all the arrows pull out and light up, if you go the wrong direction the arrow will recede. There are 4 levels of difficulty, Casual, Advanced, Hardcore, and Detective which gives you absolutely no help or hints, no skip feature, not even the cursor will change indicating an active area! Some inventory items will display a + sign indicating that further action may be needed such as placing batteries into a flashlight. You find a video camera that belongs to the journalist and when you play the first tape, a still picture comes out and you need to place that picture exactly where it was taken and that place will contain information that the journalist hid. I bought this game in the Collectors Edition because in my opinion, the extras are well worth the money, an I will say that I'm still thrilled with the game from beginning to ending! I most certainly recommend this game for any level of player, one of my all time favorites, enjoy! Show less

Objectives are specifically given, which I like. HOS are typical. Puzzles are varied and not so difficult that you can't solve them (unless maybe you're a beginner).

Color palette and graphics are outstanding as all the Mystery Tracker games. Map and journal are normal. Flawless gameplay. Carefully crafted environments and nicely-told story.

SUMMARY: I don't think this is my favorite Mystery Trackers, although they all are terrific. Lots of fun and things to do and nonlinear. If you play a lot of HOGs, can't help but love this series Show less

fantastic game!!!! hint/skip charge fairly fast. good graphics. items can be found in HO scenes. i played casual, low sound. you have been called in to find emilie, another reporter, that has disappeared in raincliff. she started reporting and then nothing. you are chasing the "headless one". he has developed a formula that makes people invisible. even the clothes they wear eventually take on the ...Show more

This is my favourite one in these series. A lot of fun, storyline is thrilling and amazing and visual quality is great too. This was such a pleasure to play this game! I highly recommended :)

I love a setting in the snow - chills the core and sets the senses on edge. Not sure why this was not as popular as I would imagine. I have loved the entire Raincliff series, they really know how to bamboozle, connections are tricky and not always obvious.

I recommend this game!

This is a great game. Good challenge with 4 choices.
The graphics are good. Creates a mysterious chilly atmosphere.
I mute the music.
Hidden objects are easy enough. Puzzles medium challenge level.

I bought this disc game from Walmart. I buy any game that has Big Fish Games on it. If it doesn't work on my upstairs Windows 10, I put on my downstairs XP. I'm pretty happy when it work on the 10 and does good. Only had dial-up for years because I'm out in the country and it's not offered here. But I found a Hot spot that works in the country just like everyone else and I'm trying to caught up on ...Show more

Excellent game. Once again you have Elf to help you out and it's nice having something kind of cute in a more serious game. With the invisible people wandering about, I definitely payed close attention to the screen to make sure none popped out of nowhere and scared you. HO scenes were very good with a good variation of items that were easy to find and others that required more attention to detail. Visuals were crisp and excellent and although you didn't need to hear the voice overs, listening to them gave a good sense of the situation unfolding and the urgency to figure things out quickly. Glad the storyline had a couple curve balls thrown, was a little worried that the game would have ended so easily. Boy did they prove me wrong, just when you think you've saved Emily you're knocked unconscious and she's kidnapped again. Worst part was when I finished the game, although it was a good length. I love this series of games. played the demo and new I would get it. this one is one more of there great games. the only frustrating part is I will use a free game most likely and no longer get credits for it, not sure why that change was made and don't like it but still love the games. I do recommend this. great hint that lets you jump to places and a map.

I love challenge, so I played the hardcore detective mode- without sparkling areas, hints or skipping.
