What a breath of fresh air. No run of the mill storyline, or puzzles that have nothing to do with HO. No videos or voice overs that seem to go on forever. It's just HO. Very challenging and not for novices. This will test your HO skills to the limit. Scenes were beautifully done with no darkness or blurriness.
Welcome back HO. I hope to see many more games like this. I really love this one.
I recommend this game!

Ok, I have to admit that it is not the typical hidden object game. Very long and with extremly beautiful pictures. But--- I like the fact that you have the choice to play timed or relax. Really fresh one in a dark atmorsphere. And great music by the way!
I recommend this game!

This is one of those Seek-And-Find games (not really a hidden object game) that players will either love it or hate it. There are 66 different levels or scenes to choose from in any order, some of the items are small and difficult to recognize, some items I had no clue what they were such as a toy Araiguma Rascal or a Battledore, and most of the scenes are dark. (I simply adjusted the brightness to solve this problem which really helped) You will have to select the mode of difficulty each and every time, either Hardcore or Relaxed. I would choose the Relaxed mode first which has no timer, and the entire list of items to search for are displayed. This way I would become familiar with the scene and have knowledge of most of the items listed. Then I would replay the same level in Hardcore mode, and see how many rounds I could achieve. In the Hardcore mode, you are given 39 seconds on the timer and a few listed items to find (items to find are different each time you play the level) When those items have been found, Round 1 is completed and another set of listed items is added, with the completion of each round, a few more items are listed than the round before. If all rounds are completed, more time is added to the timer and you continue finding speed round listed items to achieve up to 5 tokens per level. That's really all there is to it, but I liked the fact that I could choose any level at any time, choose a timed or untimed mode for each game and replay the level as often as I wanted to try for a better score. It's a nice change of pace and has a good level of challenge if you play in the hardcore mode. If you play in relaxed mode however, it's not very fun, enjoy! Show less

Hints, on relaxed anyway, I didn't play any timed, are unlimited, and the hint button takes about 30 seconds to refresh when used.I played 2 screens and used 2 hints for each. I don't have really good eyesight, so I would probably rank this as fairly easy. If you like HOG's this game is for you, if you want something more involved, perhaps not. Show less

This is the type of game I've been looking for... One with lots of hidden objects and scenes. The music wasn't to my liking and I would love pretty scenes instead of dark. But it's a keeper. I'm really glad they have a relaxed mode to pick from. I don't like being rushed. But I wish the game would remember what mode I'm playing. You have to change it after each level.
I recommend this game!

This is straight up hidden object search. You have 66 "scenes" with hidden object items listed to find. There are 2 modes to play--timed vs relaxed. I recommend Timed for experienced players or people who like a challenge. The items to find are repetitive so beating the clock is the only objective that makes this game engaging, because it's harder than you think to get "gold". There are a few items that are missppelled, so you may have to resort to Hint button to find.
You have to download Direct X for the game to work.
No screensavers or rewards. It's a good way to pass the time going on a hidden object search. Show less

It was refreshing to play a game with no story, no puzzles and no little helper. The only reason I didn't give this game five stars was because there were so many dark scenes to search through. In most games, once you adjust the brightness you're good to go for the entire game. But with this game, I was constantly changing my monitor brightness every couple of scenes.
This can be a challenging game if you're competitive and want to race against the clock, but it can be a relaxing game if you just want to chill and play without a timer. And by the way, I agree about the music -- it was a pleasure to listen to -- I didn't have to turn it off. Show less

I really wanted to like this game as I thought it would be nice to ‘get back to basics’ as it were for HO fans (like myself). However, there were problems with the game. I really wanted to like this game as I thought it would be nice to ‘get back to basics’ as it were for HO fans (like myself). However, there were problems with the game. In a normal HO scene in story-based games, the objects needing to be found are easily understood by all (by that I mean people who don’t happen to live in America), when I played this game some of the objects needing to be found were American wordage of the object, this therefore marred my enjoyment of the game. Also with regards to the objects, some were so well hidden that it made it impossible to find within the time limit. I know that the ‘game’ if you like was a HO only game, but saying that the enjoyment shouldn’t have been spoilt so early on in the game by trying to find objects that were so obscure.
The other difficulty I had was with the cursor; it didn’t blend successfully within the gameplay screen. The screen was in the 4:3 format (which for a modern game is a little unforgivable), thus the cursor could go outside the screen, the problem I had with that however is if I had something open on my desktop it tried to access that which then meant that I came out of the game. Very confusing!
Overall the idea of the game was a good one and a traditional HO only game. I would have bought the game but for the above flaws, the Americanisation being the main culprit, I don’t therefore recommend it to non-Americans.
If like me you are wanting a straight HO game then download the trial, but I wouldn’t recommend buying it ‘blind’ as it were, because this may lead to disappointment. Show less

Good HO challenges that are completely spoilt by bad English which makes it a frustrating waste of time. A stean (sic) turns out to be an urn. A 'head carve' is not a bust, but a mask.
I don't recommend this game.
